Virtually try on an outfit

This prompt uses two images: your photo first and the garment second. It puts you in the garment with natural drape and folds, keeping your face, body shape, pose and background.

Put me in the [GARMENT] from the second image, based on my photo in the first. Keep my face, body shape, pose and background exactly the same.

Fit it naturally with correct drape, folds and proportions. Match the lighting. Do not change my skin tone, hair or body.

Upload two images: your photo first, then a clear picture of the clothing.

Your photo goes to the AI app you choose, never to PromptUp.

What you will get

You in the garment from a second image, with your face, body shape, pose and background kept, natural drape, folds and proportions, and lighting matched to your photo.

Why it works

Try-on edits mix two images, so the prompt says which is which: your photo first, the garment second. It protects your face, body, pose, skin tone and background, and asks for correct drape and folds. Matching the light makes the clothes look worn, not pasted.

Common mistake

The garment’s pattern or colour is changed.

Fix: Use a flat, clear photo of the garment on a plain background, add “copy the print and colour exactly”, and zoom in on the pattern afterwards.

Also watch for

The garment fits as if it was cut for someone else. Say how it should fit: “fitted at the waist, sleeves to the wrist”. If the garment is loose in reality, say that.
Your body shape is changed to suit the clothes. Repeat “keep my body shape and proportions exactly the same”. Clothing edits can slim or reshape.

Try a variation: compare two outfits

Run it once per outfit in separate messages, with the same first photo each time, then compare the results side by side.
