What PromptUp is

PromptUp helps you get better results from AI tools. Pick what you want to do, tap a few options, and copy a detailed prompt to paste into Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Veo, Kling or Seedance. There is also a library of ready-made prompts for photo editing, image generation, video and writing.

Who is behind it

PromptUp is built and maintained by the PromptUp team in India. You can reach us on the contact page.

Private by design

There are no accounts, and the builder runs in your browser, so what you type stays on your device. We do use analytics cookies to see aggregate traffic, and the site shows Google ads, which use cookies. Read the Privacy Policy for the details.

What you will find here

• The prompt builder on the home page: answer a few taps and it writes a full prompt for you, in your browser.
• The prompt library: over 1,500 ready-made prompts, each on its own page with the text to copy, the blanks to fill in, the tools it works with, step-by-step instructions, a common mistake and its fix, and related prompts.
• Free tools: a resume builder, a writing checker, a prompt analyzer and optimizer, photo and video prompt generators and more. They run in your browser with no sign-up.
• Guides on the blog: how to get a specific result from a specific AI tool, with prompts to copy.

How the prompts and guides are made

Each prompt is written by the PromptUp team for one job and for the tools named on its page. We use AI tools to help draft and test prompts, and a person reads and edits every prompt and guide before it is published.

Guides link to their sources and show the date they were published and, when they change, the date they were last updated. AI tools change often, so we update guides when a feature, model name or price changes.

On every prompt page you can answer "Did this prompt work for you?". We use those answers, and your emails, to find prompts that need fixing.

About the example images

The example images and clips on PromptUp are AI-generated illustrations, made with AI tools to show the kind of result a prompt aims for. Each one is labelled "AI-generated example". They are not photographs of real people or events, and your own results will differ.

How PromptUp is paid for

PromptUp is free. It is paid for by advertising (Google AdSense), by a few affiliate links (currently Higgsfield: if you buy a plan through our link we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you) and by optional tips on the Support page. Advertisers and affiliate partners do not choose or review what we publish. Ads are always labelled "Advertisement".

Corrections

If something on PromptUp is wrong, out of date or does not work, tell us on the contact page with the address of the page, and we will fix it. Read the Disclaimer for the limits of what AI prompts and AI output can do.

PromptUp is not affiliated with Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Midjourney or any other AI company named on the site. See the Terms of Use.
