Natural, honest photo for a dating profile

This prompt improves a photo for a dating profile while keeping it honest. It evens the lighting and corrects colour gently, and your real face, body and features are not changed.

Improve this photo for a dating profile while keeping it honest. Keep my real face, body and features unchanged.

Improve: even lighting, gentle colour correction, slightly blurred and tidier background, straighten posture cropping to a [PORTRAIT / HALF-BODY] frame. Do not change skin, weight or age. Warm, friendly, approachable look.

What you will get

A more flattering but honest version of your photo: even lighting, gentle colour correction, a tidier and slightly blurred background and straighter posture, cropped to portrait or half-body, with face, skin, weight and age unchanged.

Why it works

Honest photos earn better matches, as the tip says, so the prompt keeps your face, body, skin, weight and age unchanged. The edits are only light, colour, background and crop. Warm and approachable is the goal.

Common mistake

The face is smoothed or reshaped, so you look different in person.

Fix: Repeat “do not change skin, weight or age”. Hold the edit beside an unedited photo and ask a friend if it looks like you.

Also watch for

The background turns into a made-up place. Ask only for tidier and slightly blurred: “keep the same location, remove clutter only”.
The smile looks forced. Start from a photo where you were already smiling, and add “keep the natural expression”.

Try a variation: candid second photo

Make a second picture with “a candid half-body shot, laughing, in natural daylight, looking slightly away from the camera”. A mix of close and candid shots shows more of you.
