What you will get

Your kitchen shown after a remodel in the style you chose, with the same room shape, windows and layout and new cabinets, counters, backsplash, lights and handles in realistic materials from the same camera angle.

Why it works

A remodel preview has to keep the room’s bones, so the prompt fixes the shape, windows, doors, layout and camera angle. The style, cabinet colour, countertop, tile and fittings are the parts that change. Trying three options side by side, as the tip says, helps decide.

Common mistake

The layout moves, with the window or the door in a new place.

Fix: Repeat “keep the room shape, windows, doors and layout exactly the same”. This preview is for finishes, not for moving walls.

Also watch for

The materials look generic or unrealistic. Be specific in the blanks: “honed grey granite” and “white subway tile in a brick pattern” work far better than “nice countertop”.
Everything is too clean and showroom-like. Add “a lived-in kitchen with a few everyday items on the counter”. It helps you picture the real thing.

Try a variation: budget-friendly refresh

Say “only repaint the cabinets, change the handles and the backsplash, keep the countertop and floor”. This shows what a smaller budget could achieve.
