Turn this photo into a square music album cover for a [GENRE] release called "[TITLE]" by "[ARTIST]". Keep my face and features recognisable.

Style: [e.g. grainy film / bold duotone / dreamy blur], strong central composition, clean readable title text, my face partly in shadow for mood, looks good at thumbnail size on streaming apps.

Keep the title short. Streaming apps show covers very small.

What you will get

A square album cover from your photo in the style you picked, with a strong central composition, your face partly in shadow for mood, and a short title and artist name that stay readable when the cover is tiny.

Why it works

Album covers are mostly seen as tiny squares on a phone, so the prompt asks for a strong central composition and clean, readable title text that survives thumbnail size. Naming the genre and a style, grainy film, bold duotone or dreamy blur, sets the mood. Putting part of your face in shadow adds mystery, and a short title, as the tip says, keeps it legible.

Common mistake

The title or artist name is misspelt or too thin to read.

Fix: Keep the title to two words, ask for “thick letters with strong contrast”, and shrink the cover to thumbnail size to check.

Also watch for

Your face is so deep in shadow that you cannot recognise yourself. Say “one eye and the cheekbone clearly lit, the rest of the face in shadow”. One lit eye is enough for mood and identity.
The size is wrong for release. Music distributors normally ask for a square of about 3000 by 3000 pixels, so check your distributor’s rules and upscale before you submit.

Try a variation: duotone

Ask for “a bold duotone in deep purple and orange, high contrast, the face as a clean shape”. Two flat colours stay recognisable at a very small size.

Keep my face recognisable with one eye lit, shorten the title to two words in thick high-contrast letters and keep the layout simple.
