India's home series against West Indies starts on 27 September with three ODIs, followed by five T20Is that end in Bengaluru on 17 October, according to the ICC's schedule report. That's three weeks of match days, and a lot of fans will be sharing pictures.

One rule first: invented designs, no real logos

Real team logos, sponsor names and players' faces can cause problems, and image tools often refuse or garble them anyway. Every prompt below asks for an invented team design in your chosen colours. It still reads as "India blue" or "West Indies maroon" to anyone who sees it, without copying a real kit.

The same goes for text. Keep any words short, in quotes, and check the spelling. For match-day captions, add the text afterwards in a photo editor.

The jersey portrait

This is the simplest one, and it works for any sport. Upload a clear photo of yourself and use the sports jersey portrait prompt:

Pick a number that means something to you, such as a birthday or your old school number. Short names spell correctly more often than long ones.

The stadium batting shot

For something more dramatic, the cricket batsman portrait prompt puts you at the crease. Here is a fuller version:

Holding the helmet rather than wearing it keeps your face visible. If you prefer a bowling pose, change the action line: "mid-delivery stride, ball leaving my hand".

A team poster with your friends

Everyone wears matching [COLOUR] jerseys with the invented team name "[TEAM NAME, e.g. Sofa XI]". Arms crossed, standing in a V shape with the tallest in the middle. Dramatic stadium floodlights behind, light mist, moody cinematic colour grade. Leave empty space at the top for a title.

Group photos are harder, so use one where everyone faces the camera and nobody is cut off at the edges. With more than five or six people, faces are more likely to drift.

The big-screen fan cam video

This is the fun one for Reels. The stadium fan cam prompt makes a short clip of you spotting yourself on the giant screen and going wild. It works best in Seedance or Veo. Write the reaction in steps: "notices, looks shocked, then jumps up cheering". Video models follow a clear order of actions better than a vague "gets excited".

For a pure highlight clip without you in it, the slow-motion six prompt gives you a broadcast-style shot of a big hit with the ball climbing into the floodlights.

Street cricket, not stadium

Not every fan picture needs a stadium. A gully cricket scene can feel more personal:

Fixing common problems

The jersey has a real logo. Add "no logos, no sponsors, plain invented design" and regenerate.

The bat or hands look wrong. Ask for a simpler pose: "bat resting on my shoulder".

The crowd has strange faces. Ask for "the crowd softly blurred in the background". Blur hides detail the AI gets wrong.

The number is wrong or doubled. Keep it to one or two digits and say "on the back only".
