What you will get

A modern 5:7 announcement card in your school colour and gold, with a mortarboard and diploma illustration, confetti, “Class of” headline, the graduate’s name and degree, bold typography and room for a photo.

Why it works

School colours with gold make an announcement feel personal and official, as the tip says. A mortarboard, scroll and confetti mark the occasion. Space for a photo and clear lines for name and degree make it practical to send.

Common mistake

The year, name or degree is misspelt.

Fix: Keep the text short, check every letter and, if there is a mistake, regenerate or correct it in an editor. Printed errors are costly.

Also watch for

The photo space is filled with decoration. Say “the right 40 percent is an empty rectangle with a thin gold border, nothing else inside”.
The gold looks like flat yellow. Ask for “metallic gold foil with a soft sheen”, and limit it to the headline and thin lines.

Try a variation: WhatsApp version

Ask for “a 9:16 version with the same text and a round photo space at the top”. Most relatives will see the announcement on a phone first.

Still not right? Reply with this

Keep the layout. Leave an empty framed rectangle on the right for a photo, make the gold look metallic and check that the name and year are spelt correctly.
