Bake sale poster for a cause

This prompt creates a pastel bake sale poster with illustrated bakes, a hand-lettered heading and a line stating the cause you support, plus the date, time and place. State what the money is for; people give more when they know.

What you will get

A charming bake sale poster with illustrated cupcakes, cookies and a pie on a checkered tablecloth, a pastel pink and cream palette, a hand-lettered heading, a cause line and space for the date, time and place.

Common mistake

The cause, date and place are misspelt or have wrong digits.

Fix: Leave the small text areas empty and add the cause, date, time and place in an editor. Check each number twice.

Also watch for

The poster is full of food and has no room for text. Say “keep the lower third empty for details, food only in the top two thirds”. The prompt already asks for generous space.
It is not clear what the money is for. Use the tip and state the cause in one short line, such as “Supporting the school library”.

Try a variation: school fair

Change the heading to “School Fair” and add “paper bunting across the top, a lemonade stall and a ring-toss game”. Keep the same palette for a matching set of posters.

Fix the spelling so the text reads exactly as in my prompt, letter by letter. Keep everything else the same.
