Build a habit you can actually keep
This prompt designs a plan for a habit you choose. You say why it matters, describe your routine and what has stopped you before, and it uses tiny steps starting with a two-minute version.
Help me build the habit of [HABIT]. Why it matters to me: [REASON] My schedule: [ROUTINE] What has stopped me before: [OBSTACLES] Design a plan using tiny steps: a 2-minute starter version, a trigger tied to something I already do, a reward, what to do on a missed day and a 4-week ramp-up. Also a way to track it without a complicated app.
Make the habit so small it feels silly. You can grow it later.

A plan built from tiny steps: a two-minute starter version, a trigger tied to something you already do, a reward, a rule for missed days, a four-week ramp-up and a simple way to track it.
Week 1 is already too big, so the habit breaks by Thursday.
Fix: Say “week 1 is only the two-minute version, nothing more”. Growing slowly is the whole idea.
- The trigger is vague, such as “in the morning”. Anchor it to an existing action: “right after I pour my first cup of tea”. A specific cue is easier to remember.
- A missed day is treated as failure. Ask for “never miss twice: if I miss a day, I do the two-minute version the next day and carry on”.
Add “we are two people doing this together, so add a one-line daily check-in message and a weekly review we do together”. A partner makes the habit harder to skip.
Shrink week 1 to the two-minute version, tie it to pouring my first cup of tea and add a never-miss-twice rule for bad days.
