Street dog in armour on a fort wall

A scruffy brown street dog in polished silver armour and a deep red cape stands on an old fort wall at golden hour. The prompt asks for slow motion, light from behind and one slow turn of the head toward the camera, so the clip feels like a film shot rather than a pet video.

Cinematic slow-motion vertical video. A [ANIMAL, e.g. scruffy brown street dog] wearing a tiny set of polished silver armour and a flowing deep red cape stands proudly on top of [PLACE, e.g. an old sandstone fort wall] at golden hour, looking out over a dusty plain. The cape and the fur ripple in the wind, the sun glows behind the dog and lights its edges, shallow depth of field, tiny dust motes in the air. The dog turns its head slowly toward the camera with a calm, dutiful look. Warm, epic, funny-but-serious mood, film grain. Sound: low wind, a distant slow war drum, faint cape flutter.

End the clip on one clear beat: here the dog turns its head slowly toward the camera. Slow motion, light from behind and a plain far background keep the eye on the one subject.

What you will get

A slow-motion shot of a dog in silver armour and a red cape on a fort wall, lit from behind by the low sun, with the cape and fur moving in the wind and a calm look into the camera at the end.

Common mistake

The armour looks stuck on instead of worn.

Fix: Say what it is made of and how it fits, as this prompt does with polished silver and a tiny set. If plates look pasted on, add one fitting detail such as straps across the chest.

Also watch for
  • The cape does not move with the wind. Mention the wind in the same sentence as the cape and the fur, then keep the camera still. When the camera also moves, the model has two motions to keep believable.
Try a variation: change the animal

Swap the dog for a cat, a crow or a goat and keep the cape, the backlight and the slow head turn. A different animal changes the humour but not the camera work, so the rest of the prompt can stay as it is.

Still not right? Add this and run it again

Single continuous shot, one smooth camera move, no cuts.
