What you will get

A joyful tracking shot at dog height of a dog running along the water’s edge at golden hour, with ears flapping, sand and water spraying, tongue out and a wave chasing behind, with the sound of crashing surf and light barking.

Why it works

Dog beach clips are pure joy, so the prompt packs in the details that show it: flapping ears, spraying sand and water, a lolling tongue and a wave chasing behind. A tracking shot at dog height puts the viewer beside the dog rather than above it, which is why the tip says to name it. Golden hour light and the sound of waves and light barking finish a happy summer feeling.

Common mistake

The dog’s legs blur or the number of legs changes.

Fix: Keep a clear, simple gait and generate a few takes. Say “natural dog anatomy, four legs, smooth running motion”.

Also watch for

The camera is too high and loses the joyful feeling. Follow the tip and write “dog-height camera, close to the sand, tracking beside the dog”.
The breed is not recognisable. Name the breed and a colour in the blank, for example “a golden retriever with a wet, shaggy coat”.

Try a variation: puppy version

Change the dog to “a small puppy with oversized paws, tumbling in the foam”. Keep the golden hour and the low camera.

Still not right? Add this and run it again

Keep the same beach and light. Lower the camera, slow the run a little and make the splashes larger.
