Cat astronaut floating in a home kitchen

A fluffy grey cat in a clear bubble helmet and a small white space suit floats weightlessly through an ordinary kitchen, rotating slowly past cereal, a banana and a drifting cup of tea, then bats a cereal piece away. The camera drifts alongside in soft window light.

Funny vertical video. A [ANIMAL, e.g. fluffy grey cat] wearing a tiny clear-bubble astronaut helmet and a small white space suit floats weightlessly through a bright, ordinary home kitchen, slowly rotating past [FLOATING OBJECTS, e.g. floating cereal pieces, a floating banana and a drifting cup of tea], then bats a floating cereal piece with a paw and watches it spin away. The camera drifts gently alongside, soft morning window light, shallow depth of field, a calm domestic look with a touch of wonder. Cute, silly, dreamy mood. Sound: soft muffled space-like hum, tiny glassy clinks, a quiet purr.

Put the odd thing in a very ordinary place. A normal kitchen in morning window light makes a floating cat more surprising, and a camera that drifts alongside makes everything feel weightless.

What you will get

A grey cat in a white space suit and bubble helmet floating in a bright kitchen, with cereal pieces, a banana and cups of tea drifting around it, and a paw swatting one piece away.

Common mistake

Everything floats the same way, so it does not feel like zero gravity.

Fix: Give different objects different motions: a slow rotation for the cat, a lazy drift for the tea, a spin for the cereal it bats. Varied speeds sell weightlessness better than one movement for all.

Also watch for
  • A mirrored visor hides the cat's face. Ask for a clear bubble helmet and soft window light, as written, not a reflective visor. A clear helmet keeps the face readable, and the face is where the humour is.
Try a variation: another place

Move the cat to a classroom, a bus or a temple courtyard and change what floats: chalk, school bags or marigold petals. Keep the clear helmet and the gentle drifting camera, because they carry the dreamy mood.

Still not right? Add this and run it again

Single continuous shot, one smooth camera move, no cuts.
