Hot-air balloons over a pink old city

Early morning over a historic pink-sandstone city: red, yellow, teal and striped hot-air balloons rise slowly above palace walls, hilltop forts and rooftops, with mist in the valleys. The camera glides forward and up past the nearest basket, where the burner flame flickers.

video-jaipur-balloon-dawn — veo — 94 words

Cinematic vertical drone-style video. Early morning over [CITY, e.g. a historic pink-sandstone Indian city]: several colourful hot-air balloons (red, yellow, teal and striped) rise slowly in the soft pink light above old palace walls, hilltop forts and rooftops, with a thin mist in the valleys and the sun just clearing the hills. The camera glides forward and up past the nearest balloon basket, gentle burner flames flicker, warm light on the balloon fabric, a vast calm view. Peaceful, magical mood. Sound: the whoosh of a burner flame, soft wind, faint temple bells far below.

Start wide and glide in: balloons rise over walls and forts in pink light, then the camera moves forward and up past the nearest basket. Mention the burner flame, because its flicker is the one thing that moves in the foreground.

What you will get

A wide, calm view of balloons over a fort city in pink morning light, with a couple in the nearest basket, a burner flame in the foreground and soft haze over the hills.

Common mistake

The basket and its passengers do not look attached to the balloon.

Fix: Keep the nearest basket short on detail and the people small, as written, and avoid asking for faces. Distance and soft morning haze hide most joins.

Also watch for
  • The city looks generic instead of Indian. Name the building material and the kinds of structure: pink sandstone, palace walls, hilltop forts. This clip shows a walled city with arched gates because the prompt says exactly that.
Try a variation: change the city

Try a lake city in Rajasthan, a rocky valley or a green hill station, and change the colour of the buildings in the prompt. Keep the forward-and-up glide and the burner flame.
