What you will get

A nostalgic illustration of a restored camper van in your colour by a still mountain lake at sunset, with string lights on the roof, two folding chairs, a small campfire and pine trees.

Why it works

Travel illustrations sell a feeling of freedom, and the prompt builds it from a vintage van, a still mountain lake, two chairs and a small fire: the picture of a slow evening outdoors. String lights add warmth and a human touch. Asking for an illustration style rather than a photo keeps it nostalgic, so it works on posters, blog headers and travel planners.

Common mistake

The van is a real model with its badge.

Fix: Ask for a generic vintage camper with rounded lines and no badge or logo, so you can use the picture freely.

Also watch for

The lake reflection is missing. Ask for still water with the van, string lights and sunset sky reflected in it. Reflections double the warm colours.
The light and time of day keep changing. Name a moment, as the tip says, such as “twenty minutes after sunset”, when the sky is orange and the string lights just start to glow.

Try a variation: snowy version

Ask for the van in snow with a warm glow from the windows and smoke from a small chimney.

Still not right? Add this and run it again
