Birthday wish video from a photo

This prompt animates a photo into a birthday wish video where the person smiles and blows out candles.

video-photo-birthday-wish-video — kling — 50 words

Animate this photo into a birthday wish video: the person smiles and blows out the candles on a cake, confetti pops, balloons float upward, warm party lights twinkle, camera slowly pushes in. Keep the face exactly the same. Cheerful mood, add the text "Happy Birthday [NAME]" in the last second.

What you will get

Your photo turned into a short birthday clip: the person smiles and blows out the candles, confetti pops, balloons float up, warm party lights twinkle and the camera slowly pushes in, ending with the name text.

Why it works

The prompt turns one photo into a short story: the smile, blowing out candles, confetti and floating balloons. A slow push in gives it a filmic finish. Keeping the face exactly the same matters because friends will know the person. Putting the message in the last second leaves room to add it in an editor if the AI text fails.

Common mistake

The candles do not go out, or the flames stay lit.

Fix: Say “the person takes a breath, blows once, and every candle flame goes out with a small puff of smoke”.

Also watch for
  • The name text in the last second is garbled. Follow the card tip and add “Happy Birthday” and the name yourself in an editor such as Canva or CapCut. Take the text line out of the prompt if letters keep breaking.
  • The face changes while blowing out the candles. Repeat “keep the face exactly the same”, and start from a photo that is front-facing with the mouth closed.
Try a variation: child's party

Replace the confetti scene with “a child laughing, a brightly coloured cake, friends in party hats clapping behind”. Use only a photo of a child you have permission to share.

Still not right? Add this and run it again

Clear audio. The person speaks slowly and their lips match the words exactly.
