A warm Teachers’ Day card with a chalkboard, hand-drawn apple, books, pencils and stars, doodle borders and a hand-lettered thank-you message in classroom colours.
A chalkboard, apple, books and pencils say classroom at once. Childlike doodle borders and hand lettering make it feel made by a student. A large blank area, as the tip says, leaves room for real messages.
The teacher’s name is misspelt.
Fix: Check it letter by letter, and add the name yourself afterwards if it is wrong. Names are often a weak point for image tools.
- The card is too busy for writing. Ask for “a large clear area in the lower half for a handwritten note”, as the tip says.
- It looks like a chalkboard photo, not a card. Say “flat illustration, card layout with a border, ready to print”.
Ask for “a version with blank circles around the border where each child can draw or sign”. It makes a good shared class card.
Keep the doodles but make them smaller and move them to the borders. Leave the middle of the chalkboard empty for students to write on.
