Vision board 2027: ideas, a free maker and a phone wallpaper you'll actually see
Published

Short answerPick five goals for 2027, write each one as something you can picture ("Trip to Ladakh", not "travel more"), match each to a picture, and put the board where you see it every day, which for most people means the phone lock screen. The free PromptUp Vision Board Maker turns typed goals into a board or phone wallpaper in seconds.
A vision board is a page of pictures and words for the year you want. It doesn't make anything happen by magic. What it does is keep your goals in front of you on the days you forget them, and that is most days.
For many families the new year starts at Diwali, not January: the Gujarati New Year (Bestu Varas) comes right after Diwali on 8 November. So now is a good time to make one, well before the January rush.
Make one in two minutes
Open the free Vision Board Maker. Type up to five goals and it picks a picture for each one, draws the board and lets you download it. There are four styles: magazine cutouts, notebook paper, polaroid wall and clean minimal. Two sizes: a 4:5 post and a phone wallpaper with the top left clear for your clock.
Nothing is uploaded. The board is drawn in your browser and saved straight to your phone or laptop.

How to pick goals that work on a board
Five is enough. With 15 goals, none of them gets attention.
Make each one a picture. "Be healthier" can't be pictured. "Run a half marathon" can. The maker matches pictures to words, so "Trek to Ladakh" gets mountains and "Save ₹1 lakh" gets money.
Mix the kinds of goals. One each from health, money, work or study, a trip, and something just for fun.
Keep them short. Under 40 characters fits nicely on a tile, and short lines are easier to remember.

Copy any of these straight into the maker:

| Money | Save ₹1 lakh · Clear my credit card · Start a ₹5,000 SIP · Build a 6-month emergency fund |
| Career | A new job I love · Get promoted · Land my first client · Start my own business |
| Study | Score 95% in my boards · Crack JEE · Finish my degree · Learn coding · Read 12 books |

| Fun and skills | Learn the guitar · Learn to cook · Paint every Sunday · Dance classes |
Students: see the study vision board guide, or open the maker with student goals filled in.
Put it where you'll see it
The best board is the one you look at every day. For most people that's the phone:
- In the maker, choose Phone wallpaper and download.
- Android: open the picture in Gallery or Photos, tap the three dots, then Set as wallpaper, then Lock screen.
- iPhone: open it in Photos, tap Share, then Use as Wallpaper. Leave the top clear for the clock; the maker already does.
Print the 4:5 version too if you have a desk or a fridge. Many people keep both.
Make an AI vision board instead
Want a painted or collage-style board made by AI? The maker writes a prompt for you under the board. Copy it into Gemini or ChatGPT. Or use this one:
Make a 2027 vision board in a [STYLE, e.g. magazine collage on a cork board / polaroid wall with fairy lights / clean minimal beige] style, portrait 4:5. Show these goals as pictures, each with a short handwritten label: [GOAL 1], [GOAL 2], [GOAL 3], [GOAL 4], [GOAL 5]. Put "2027" large in the middle. Real photos, warm and hopeful, not cluttered. Spell every word exactly as written.
AI tools still misspell words sometimes. If a label comes out wrong, the maker's board is the safer choice. Its text is typed, not drawn.
Turn the board into a plan
A board shows the what. For the how, paste each goal into one of these:
- Goal to milestones breaks a goal into monthly steps.
- Daily habit plan turns it into one small daily action.
- Monthly budget plan for the money goals.
- Weekend getaway planner for the travel ones.
Check your board on the first of each month. Tick off what's done, and swap a goal if it no longer matters. Changing your board is allowed.
Quick checklist
- Five goals, each one you can picture.
- One from each area of life.
- Short labels, under 40 characters.
- Phone wallpaper on the lock screen.
- A plan for each goal, checked monthly.
- Make it free in the Vision Board Maker.
