Fresher resume examples you can copy: B.Tech, B.Com, BA and 12th pass

Published

Short answerA good fresher resume names the course, the skills and two or three small pieces of real work, each with a number. Copy the wording below, replace every detail with your own, and delete anything that is not true for you.

The hardest part of a first resume is the blank page. Below are four samples written the way a recruiter likes to read them: short, specific and honest. The names, colleges and numbers are made up. Use the wording and structure, never the facts. If you did not do it, do not write it.

To turn any of these into a file, open the free resume builder, pick the Fresher template and paste your own version in. You get a PDF and a Word file, with no sign-up.

What every good example has in common

  • A summary that names the course, two or three skills and the role wanted.
  • Education with the result, so a recruiter sees it in one glance.
  • Projects that say what you built, with what, and what happened.
  • Numbers wherever you honestly have one: users, marks, hours saved, team size.
  • One page, one column, no photo and no personal details such as date of birth or father's name.

How to make your version

  1. Open a template in the resume builder and choose Fresher, which puts education first.
  2. Replace the facts. Keep the structure, change every name, college, number and skill to your own.
  3. Cut what is not yours. An honest short resume beats a long one with something you cannot explain in an interview.
  4. Open the Check tab and fix what it flags: it looks for missing contact details, bullets without numbers, a long summary and personal details you should remove.
  5. Download the PDF, and keep the Word file for edits.

Frequently asked questions

Can I copy a fresher resume example word for word?

Copy the structure and the style of the wording, not the facts. A recruiter may ask about anything on your resume, so every line has to be true and something you can explain.

What should a fresher with no projects write?

Use class or college work, a society role, a part-time job, a certification course or a self-made project. A simple project you finished and can explain is better than none. See resume for students with no experience.

How many pages should a fresher resume have?

One. Keep it to a single page with short bullets.

Do these examples work with ATS software?

Yes. They use one column, plain headings and plain text, which is how ATS software reads best. Avoid tables, text boxes and pictures. See what makes a resume ATS-friendly.
