What you will get

A calm, bright drone rise over endless rows of red, yellow and pink tulips in colourful stripes, a windmill or farmhouse in the distance, a farm road crossing the fields and soft spring light with a gentle breeze moving the flowers.

Why it works

Tulip fields are famous for their stripes of colour, which only really show from above, so the prompt uses a drone rising slowly to reveal the pattern. A windmill or farmhouse in the distance gives a sense of place and scale. Soft spring light and a gentle breeze keep the colours bright and the flowers moving slightly, which makes the clip calm and cheerful.

Common mistake

The colours mix together instead of forming stripes.

Fix: Ask for long straight rows, each a single colour, as the tip says. A top-down angle shows the stripes best.

Also watch for
  • The drone rises too fast. Ask for a slow rise that starts low over the flowers and ends high enough to see the whole pattern.
  • The windmill takes over the shot. Keep it small and far away on the horizon, as a point of interest, not the subject.
Try a variation: cyclist on the road

Add one person cycling along the farm road between the stripes, small from above, to give scale and story.

Still not right? Add this and run it again

long straight rows each a single colour, a slow rise from just above the flowers to a top-down view, a small windmill far on the horizon
