What you will get

Dark monsoon clouds rolling over lush green hills, mist swirling through valleys, waterfalls swelling, a small village with terracotta roofs and bursts of sunlight, shown as a fast time-lapse and then real-time rain.

Why it works

The monsoon is a moving sky over living land, so the prompt combines rolling clouds, swirling mist and swelling waterfalls with a small village for scale. Time-lapse shows how fast the weather changes, and real-time rain lets viewers feel it. Bursts of sunlight break up the darkness and make the greens glow, which is the image people remember.

Common mistake

The change from time-lapse to real time is confusing.

Fix: Make two clips: a time-lapse of clouds rolling in, then a real-time shot of rain on the village, and join them.

Also watch for
  • The hills look dry. Ask for deep, wet green hills with waterfalls running white down the slopes.
  • The sunlight bursts look like spotlights. Ask for soft patches of sun moving across the hills between clouds.
Try a variation: village close-up

Make a close clip of the village: rain pouring off terracotta roofs, children with umbrellas and a stream rushing past.

Still not right? Add this and run it again

deep wet green hills with white waterfalls running down the slopes, soft patches of sun moving across the hills between clouds, mist swirling in the valleys
