First snowfall in the city
This prompt shows the first snowfall over a busy city at dusk, with flakes swirling in the street lights.
The first snowfall over a busy [CITY, e.g. European] city at dusk: flakes swirling in street lamp light, commuters looking up and smiling, a street food cart with steam, a couple catching snowflakes on their tongues, cars slowing, camera cranes up to show rooftops turning white, muffled sounds, magical soft colours.
Great for winter holiday campaigns and greeting clips.

A dusk clip of the first snowfall over a busy city: flakes swirling in lamp light, commuters looking up, a steaming street food cart and rooftops turning white as the camera cranes up.
People catching snowflakes on their tongues come out with warped mouths.
Fix: Remove that detail and use “a couple holding out their gloved hands to catch the flakes, seen from behind”.
- Snow settles on the street in some frames and not in others. Add “snow gradually builds up on the roofs and lamp posts, the road stays wet and dark”. The road melting is more realistic.
- The city is vague, so every building looks alike. Name the landmarks or style, such as “narrow cobbled lanes, tall brick townhouses and a church spire in the background”.
Change the city to “a Himalayan hill town: wooden balconies, a tea stall with rising steam, people in shawls looking up at the first snow”. It suits an Indian winter greeting.
Show the couple from behind catching snowflakes in gloved hands, let snow gather slowly on roofs only and name a church spire in the background.
