Get a better result
A short clip of a devotee swirling a dhunuchi burner in front of a lit pandal at dusk, with marigolds, warm golden light, incense smoke curling around them and a softly blurred crowd behind.
The smoke fills the frame like fog and hides the dancer.
Fix: Say “thin white smoke curling from the burner, the dancer’s face and costume clearly visible”. Smoke should add atmosphere, not cover the subject.
- The dhak drums look like random instruments or are missing altogether. Describe them: “two drummers at the edge of the frame with long dhak drums on shoulder straps and decorated sticks”. Not every video tool creates sound, so add a real dhak track later if yours does not.
- The idol is drawn with a distorted face or too many arms. Keep the idol out of the frame and show only the glowing pandal, lights and decorations. Distorted holy figures are disrespectful and are hard to fix afterwards.
Change the shot to “a close-up of hands holding the burner, smoke rising in slow motion, marigold petals on the floor”. A close-up avoids crowd and face problems and makes a good cutaway.
Make the smoke thinner so the dancer’s face is clear, keep the idol out of the shot and show the dhak drummers on the left edge. Same warm evening light.
