Plan my day and prioritise tasks
This prompt acts as a productivity coach. You paste your to-do list, your free hours and fixed commitments, and it sorts tasks into Do now, Schedule, Delegate and Drop, then builds a schedule.
Act as a productivity coach. Here is my to-do list for today: [PASTE YOUR TASKS] I'm free from [START TIME] to [END TIME]. Fixed commitments: [MEETINGS / CLASSES]. Sort the tasks into Do now / Schedule / Delegate / Drop. Then build a time-blocked schedule with short breaks, putting the hardest task in my first focus block. Flag anything that won't realistically fit.
Do this the night before — you'll start the day already knowing your first task.
Get a better result
Your tasks sorted into Do now, Schedule, Delegate and Drop, then a time-blocked schedule with short breaks, the hardest task in your first focus block, and a flag on anything that will not fit.
The schedule has no room for the unexpected.
Fix: Add “leave a 30-minute buffer in the middle and another in the late afternoon”. A full plan breaks at the first interruption.
- Task sizes are guessed, so the blocks are too short. Put an estimate next to each task, such as “report, 90 min”. Your own estimates beat the AI’s guess.
- Everything lands in Do now. Reply “only three tasks may be in Do now; move the rest to Schedule or Drop and tell me why”. A limit forces choices.
Add “end with a five-minute shutdown: what I finished, and the first task for tomorrow”. It sets up the next day with a clear first task.
Limit Do now to three tasks. Add a 30-minute buffer, use my time estimates, and tell me what you dropped and why.
