Help your child with homework
This prompt explains a homework question or topic to a parent at the level of their child's grade, so you can help without doing it for them.
My child in [GRADE] is working on this homework: [PASTE QUESTION OR TOPIC] Explain the concept to me as if I have not studied it for years. Then show me how to guide my child with three hints or questions instead of giving the answer, and suggest one simple everyday example to make it click.
Ask the AI to give hints first, not answers, so your child still does the thinking.

What you will get
A plain explanation of the concept for an adult who has forgotten it, then three hints or questions to guide your child, and one everyday example.
Common mistake
It just gives the answer.
Fix: Repeat “hints only, never the final answer” and ask for the next hint only if your child is still stuck.
Also watch for
- The method differs from school. Tell it which method the class uses. Children get confused when a parent shows a different route.
- The explanation is too wordy for a child. Ask for a version in simple sentences that you can read aloud in under a minute.
Try a variation: make it a game
Ask for a two-minute game or quiz built around the same idea, using objects you have at home.
Still not right? Reply with this
Give me two simple questions I can ask my child to check they understood the idea, with what a good answer sounds like.
