Give the light a strong direction, like low sunset from the left, for dramatic shadows.

What you will get

A hidden oasis in a vast golden desert, with a turquoise pool, palms, a carved sandstone palace with domes, hanging lanterns, a distant camel caravan and warm sunset light with floating dust.

Why it works

An oasis is a surprise of colour in the sand, so the prompt sets a turquoise pool against golden dunes. A sandstone palace, lanterns and a distant caravan add story. Strong directional sunset light, as the tip says, gives dramatic shadows.

Common mistake

The palace style is mixed up.

Fix: Say “one architectural style, carved sandstone, rounded domes, no modern elements”.

Also watch for

Shadows look flat. Give the light a strong direction, like low sunset from the left, as the tip says.
The caravan is too big and sharp. Keep it tiny and far, with a soft haze.

Try a variation: try a night oasis

Show the same oasis under a starry sky with glowing lanterns and a bright moon reflected in the pool.

Still not right? Add this and run it again

Keep the oasis. Add a thin trail of smoke from the palace roof and long shadows across the dunes.
