Claude Code has a hidden lo-fi radio

Published

A dark terminal window showing the /radio command typed at the Claude Code prompt

Short answerType /radio in Claude Code to open the Claude FM lo-fi radio in your browser. If no browser is available it prints the stream link. /powerup has short interactive lessons with animated demos.

There is a lo-fi radio station hidden inside Claude Code, and it takes one command.

Turn it on

Terminal
/radio

It opens the Claude FM lo-fi radio in your browser. It is music for the minutes while your AI is busy.

No browser on that machine?

It prints the stream link instead, so you can open it on any other device.

A good pairing

Set a long job, open the radio, take a break:

Terminal
/goal npm test exits 0 or stop after 20 turns
/radio

More hidden stuff: /powerup

Terminal
/powerup

/powerup has quick interactive lessons with animated demos, a gentle way to find features you did not know about.

Claude Code adds and changes commands often. If /radio or /powerup is not there on your version, type /help to see what you have.
