What you will get

A vertical salon promo with quick cuts of glossy blow-dried waves, colour being brushed on, a client’s happy reaction in the mirror, a scalp massage and glinting nail polish, in warm pink light, ending on space for your salon name and “Book now”.

Why it works

Salon promos sell the feeling of being looked after and the moment of seeing yourself after. The prompt shows several services in quick cuts and gives the client’s reaction in the mirror its own shot, because that reaction is what makes viewers book. Warm pink light flatters skin and hair, and ending on a clean frame leaves room for your real booking details.

Common mistake

The salon name in the last frame is misspelled.

Fix: Leave the final frame empty and, as the tip says, add your real logo, name and phone number in the edit.

Also watch for
  • The cuts are too fast to see what each service is. Ask for about two seconds per shot, five shots in total, so each service reads before the next one.
  • The hair bends and melts during the blow-dry. Ask for smooth, slow-moving waves of hair and a round brush pulling through, not fast wind.
Try a variation: bridal package

Make a bridal version: an updo being pinned, makeup touches, a veil placed, and the bride turning to the mirror for the reveal.
