What you will get

A friendly sunrise clip of a mixed group of runners jogging along your chosen path, laughing and high-fiving with breath visible in the cool air, a tracking shot at their pace, a quick cut to shoes on the path, then a group stretch.

Why it works

Run clubs sell belonging more than fitness, so the prompt shows laughter, high-fives and a group stretch, not just people running. Tracking at the group’s pace puts the viewer in the pack, and the cut to shoes on the path adds rhythm. Sunrise light and visible breath make it feel early and fresh, which is what draws people out of bed for a community run.

Common mistake

The runners all look the same age and build.

Fix: As the tip says, keep faces varied. Ask for different ages, heights, body types and running styles so the club looks open to anyone.

Also watch for
  • The running looks like sprinting or floating. Ask for an easy, chatty jogging pace with feet clearly landing on the path. A relaxed pace fits a social run club.
  • There is no sense of an early morning. Ask for low golden light, long shadows and small puffs of breath in the cool air.
Try a variation: finish and coffee

Add a last shot of the group sitting on a low wall with paper cups of coffee, still laughing, as the sun gets higher.

Still not right? Add this and run it again
