A ten-second looping background of silky ribbons of three colours swirling and merging in slow motion, with glossy highlights, smooth marbling, macro depth and no objects or text.
Abstract loops need no story, so the prompt removes objects and text and focuses on motion: silky ribbons of three colours swirling and merging. Glossy highlights and macro depth make the paint feel real, and slow movement keeps it calm enough to sit behind words. Choosing three colours that belong together, such as a brand palette, makes the clip feel designed rather than random. A ten-second perfect loop lets it run behind a website or a slide, as the tip suggests.
The loop has a visible jump.
Fix: Ask for “seamless loop, first and last frames identical”, or crossfade the ends in your editor.
- The colours turn muddy. Pick three colours that sit well together and ask for “separate ribbons that blend only at the edges”.
- The movement is too fast. Say “very slow, calm, hypnotic”, and keep the camera still.
Use deep navy, purple and a thin gold ribbon on a near-black ground for a premium website background.
Keep the colours. Slow the motion further and add a soft vignette so text can sit on top.
