What you will get

A slow walking POV down white steps at sunset, blue-domed churches and pink bougainvillea on either side, the caldera glowing gold and pink below, a few travellers taking photos and a warm breeze, with soft acoustic guitar.

Why it works

Santorini’s look is simple and famous: white walls, blue domes, bougainvillea and the caldera at sunset. The prompt puts those in a slow walking POV so the viewer feels they are strolling down the steps themselves. A few travellers with cameras add life without crowding, and soft acoustic guitar and distant waves give the relaxed, holiday feel a travel film needs.

Common mistake

The walk is so fast the view becomes a blur.

Fix: As the tip says, keep it a slow walking POV. Ask for gentle steps down with the caldera staying in view the whole time.

Also watch for
  • The village is crowded with people. Keep it to “a few travellers” taking photos at the edges, so the white walls and blue domes stay the subject.
  • The colours turn neon and fake. Ask for soft natural sunset light, chalk-white walls, deep blue domes and the sea turning gold, without heavy saturation.
Try a variation: morning version

Make it early morning instead: empty steps, a cat on a wall, cool blue light and the first sun touching the domes.

Still not right? Add this and run it again

gentle steps down at walking pace with the caldera in view the whole time, a few travellers only at the edges, soft natural sunset colours
