What you will get

A soft watercolour and ink illustration of a Paris cafe terrace at dusk with round tables, wicker chairs, people over coffee, warm lanterns and the Eiffel Tower far off, in your colour palette.

Why it works

Watercolour and ink is the classic travel sketch style, so it makes the scene feel personal and calm. Dusk lets the lanterns glow against a cooling sky. Keeping the tower in the distance tells the viewer where they are while the small details, wicker chairs and coffee, make it feel lived in.

Common mistake

The Eiffel Tower is huge and in the middle.

Fix: Ask for it small and far away, as the prompt says, so the cafe stays the subject.

Also watch for

The ink lines are thick and cartoonish. Ask for fine loose ink lines with watercolour washes over them, like a travel sketchbook.
The chairs and tables are tangled. Ask for fewer tables and simple shapes, which watercolour handles better than lots of small furniture.

Try a variation: make it a rainy morning

Ask for the same terrace on a grey morning with wet cobbles, a waiter under an awning and fewer people.

Still not right? Add this and run it again

fewer tables, fine loose ink lines under soft watercolour washes, the tower small and far away
